![]() ![]() What about next time, will I be hit by all 4?5? You still have to eventually grind them all out, because if you don't clear away garbage regularly, it just piles up so it is not like it has anything to do with lowering grind or lion sinks or what not. Like I said before, I got lucky and dodged the first 2 bricks thrown at me, but the 3rd pretty much just smacked me in the face. It also solves the problem of having a bunch of shitty planes being arbitrarily stuck all over the place in your tech tree. It just solves the problem of getting your foot in the door of the next tier with an obviously inferior plane. You still have to unlock 6 planes in a tier to unlock the next one. I don't see what the problem is? People already fly out what they believe is the 'best' in their tier lineup even now. No, this is not a problem universal to the US line, but a change like this can only benefit everyone. It would just let us do the grind in reasonably competitive planes instead of feeling like on a forced uphill march with a boulder strapped to your back. I don't believe it would be totally unfair, you still have to grind the plane, pay the lions. If people want to use that bonus for previous plane in the tier, they can, and it would be an incentive, not absolutely mandatory. But once you unlock a tier, we should be allowed to unlock planes in the unlocked tier in any order and once a plane is fully researched, we should be allowed to buy it at any time, regardless of whether or not a new plane gets suddenly pushed right on top of it. You can keep the 6 planes to unlock a new tier for all I care. However, I am already facing Sabres and Mig15s in my 6.3 BR Bearcats so we all know how less of a shield BR can be for everyone. The F-84 is placed at 6.7 BR in arcade still well within reach of the 8.3 Sabres and Mig15s. But they are placed in such a fashion that they will be the bottom of the food chain. The problem is, if they were all equally viable and competitive with everything else in it's tier, it wouldn't be an issue. ![]() At 270k rp, its not going to be a quick hurdle to clear, and I imagine as they add more and more planes, it is just going to get incrementally worse. Unfortunately, I smashed headfirst into the third while going for the F-86A5. Luckily, I managed to dodge the first 2 by alreading owning the F80C. I call them wastes of lions, but apparently they have official designations, the F-82E, P80A, and the F-84 Thunderjet. 1.39 introduced a few roadblocks in the US fighter line. ![]()
